Sportika Sports is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned basketball program, with a full schedule of programming planned for the 2018-19 season. Additionally, Sportika Basketball is also pleased to announce a series of strategic relationships that will further expand the reach and development of its overall program.
“I am extremely excited to see the brand of Sportika Basketball develop,” said Jeffrey L. Jordan, CEO of Sportika Sports. “Through the design of our own programs, we aim to be a destination for training options and player development. We have made some fantastic partnerships to leverage our seven-court facility and have a full schedule of Sportika Tournaments where boys and girls of all ages and abilities can participate. We also have strong strategic partnerships with national and regional providers that will help fuel the growth of Sportika Basketball and continue the recognition of our facility as a first-class venue.”
The new Sportika Basketball curriculum will include both a house schedule and additional events that will be organized through strategic partners. Beginning in September, Sportika will also host a variety of skills clinics, and a Hoops Player Development Program will be launched for athletes who are focused on developing their game. Additionally, a Biddie Basketball Program will be installed for young players in kindergarten through the third grade. In late September, Sportika Basketball will also launch a 3v3 league schedule for athletes of all ages, and a full slate of Sportika Basketball Tournaments will be held throughout the fall and winter seasons (see full programming details below). Our goal is to build a strong family atmosphere while teaching the life skills necessary for student-athletes to grow into successful young adults.
In further exciting news, Sportika is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Swarm AAU Basketball that will tip off this fall. The Swarm is the second-largest AAU program in the country, with 16 regional locations in nine different states. The New Jersey Swarm will operate out of Sportika, hosting AAU teams in the fall, winter and spring seasons. Both Sportika and the Swarm share similar visions and look forward to aligning their passion and commitment to youth sports within the central New Jersey region. Sportika Player Development in-house teams will operate independently of the Swarm and provide student-athletes with an opportunity to develop their games while still enjoying competition through leagues and tournaments. Sportika’s Basketball’s Player Development Program’s mission is to be the premier basketball instructional facility in the country providing the highest quality coaching to committed athletes. We provide a structured training environment at a world class facility geared to develop individual player growth and team success. We strive to achieve maximum potential and create opportunities for our athletes to excel both on and off the court.
“We have a continued mission of providing Sportika Nation with first-class amenities and basketball facilities while providing our youth with the best programming available for them to develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally,” said Jordan. “Sportika is, and will continue to be, a destination for what represents the best in basketball and youth development.”
