Sportika Teams-Up with Spotswood and South River Police Departments for Dodge Addiction Fundraiser
Manalapan, N.J. – Sportika Sports recently teamed-up with the Spotswood Police Department and South River Police Department to host the Dodge Addiction Fundraiser at its Manalapan facility. Benefiting City of Angels NJ, Inc., the event was highlighted by a dodgeball tournament that was conducted to raise money for the battle against addiction.
“Sportika was extremely happy to host this great event for a wonderful cause,” said Jeffrey L. Jordan, Sportika Sports CEO. “The building was electric with good energy. We look forward to partnering again in the future to continue fighting against addiction in our communities.”
Spotswood, South River, Manalapan and its surrounding communities all united to participate in this event, with the funds that were raised going towards addiction awareness and furthering recovery programs and activities.
“We will never lose sight of the goal ahead with your help,” the Spotswood Police Department said in a public statement. “By spreading the word, donating, spectating and/or competing, we will strengthen the treatment that those in recovery/seeking recovery need in order to help them stay the course.”
Funds from this event directly benefited City of Angels NJ, which is an independent group with no parent organization. City of Angels NJ does not charge for their services, including interventions, recovery support and other related programs and activities. The organization works with anyone who needs help with addiction, regardless of whether or not they have health insurance.
